A family wine estate in Ürzig, Germany

From our Mosel vineyards
to your table.

Welcome to Erbes-Henn. We grow wine on the steep slopes of the Mosel, create dishes to pair with our wines and welcome guests to our family home in Ürzig.

Whether you are looking for wines for your portfolio or a few days beside the river, we would love to introduce you to our estate.

01 / Our wines

Riesling with a sense of place.

Riesling is at the heart of our estate. Our vineyards in Ürziger Würzgarten, Erdener Treppchen and Kinheimer Rosenberg bring different soils and slopes into the cellar, where we give the wines time to develop.

Peter and Charlotte work together in the vineyards and cellar, combining experience with the ideas of a new generation. We tend our vines by hand wherever the steep terrain demands it and use neither herbicides nor insecticides in our vineyards.

Our Rieslings range from dry and delicately off-dry to fruitier styles. Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, Rivaner and our blends offer other ways to explore the estate.

Our shop is currently in German. For international orders, please contact us about availability and delivery.

Three wines to get to know us

We work with both spontaneous fermentation and selected yeasts, choosing the approach to suit each wine. At the table, these three wines show different sides of our range.

2024 · DRY RIESLING

TASTE OF MUSIC

Our Ürziger Würzgarten Riesling Spätlese trocken is a dry wine from one of our home village’s steep vineyard sites.

From Annina’s recipes: we pair it with Riesling and cheese soup, where its freshness complements the creamy texture.

2024 · OFF-DRY RIESLING

Schiefergestein

This halbtrocken Riesling brings freshness with a gentle touch of sweetness.

We recommend it with our savoury salmon éclairs filled with cream cheese, or with spiced cashew pâté and mulled-wine jelly.

2025 · PINOT BLANC & RIESLING

WeibuRi

Pinot Blanc brings fullness and Riesling adds freshness to this blend.

In Annina’s pumpkin bruschetta, it goes into the cooking and into the glass alongside pumpkin, walnuts and pomegranate. In the bistro, we recommend it with our spinach dumplings.

02 / Food & wine

Wine belongs
at the table.

In our wine bistro, Annina cooks with our wines in mind. Her training as a cook, her interest in spices and her love of South African food all find their way into the kitchen.

When we choose a pairing, we taste the whole dish: its herbs, sauce, texture and seasoning. The freshness of a dry Riesling can lift a creamy dish, while a little sweetness can work beautifully with aromatic spices.

Our bistro and Annina’s cookbook bring these ideas together, giving our wines a place in everyday cooking as well as a leisurely evening at the estate.

03 / Our guesthouse

Stay a little longer
on the Mosel.

Our guesthouse in Ürzig is a place to settle in after a day among the vineyards. Stay in our renovated rooms, enjoy breakfast and set out to explore the river, the Mosel cycle paths and the walking routes above the village.

Each room has its own bathroom, with Wi-Fi and a television for a comfortable stay. A visit to Bernkastel-Kues or Traben-Trarbach is an easy addition to a few days discovering the region.

You can check dates and book through our booking page in English. Dutch-speaking guests can also choose Nederlands in the language menu.

The booking page shows current rates and availability. Please ask us in advance if you would like to bring a dog.

04 / Meet the family

A return to the Mosel,
and a new chapter.

After years away, Annina and Peter returned to Ürzig with Charlotte and Konrad to take over the family estate in 2018. We wanted to work with the seasons and make something we could grow, taste and share.

Peter studied viticulture in Geisenheim and worked at wineries abroad before returning to the family business. Charlotte now brings her own experience and ideas to the wines. Annina connects the estate with the kitchen and the people who visit us.

05 / For importers, wine merchants & restaurants

Let’s find the right wines
for your customers.

We welcome conversations with importers and trade partners who are interested in a small, family-run Mosel estate with a close connection to food and hospitality.

Tell us about your market, your customers and the styles you are looking for. We can discuss the current range, available vintages, quantities, trade pricing and the next steps for tasting our wines.

Our kitchen also gives us a practical way to talk about the wines: through dishes, pairings and serving ideas that make sense on a restaurant list or in a conversation with a customer.
